Welcome to Yeguada Rodia
At Yeguada Rodia we believe in breeding quality Spanish horses. In order for us to achieve this, we took great care and attention in selecting and ultimately purchasing our foundation stock. We looked long and hard at many different stud farms in Spain, searching for a breeder which we felt was breeding the type of horse we wished to emulate.Our aim was to find a stud farm with just the right Bocado bloodlines to increase the probability of breeding Spanish horses with beauty, elegance and nobility but above all, movement.After much deliberation, we decided that the Yeguada Maipe fulfilled all our criteria and we consequently set out to purchase some of the best mares the stud farm had to offer. All had exceptional athletic movement combined with a superb temperament to enable us to create not only a beautiful horse but also a functional one that would excel in all equine disciplines, especially in the dressage arena.
With these mares and our stallion Conquistador, we have been able to realise our dream and are now recreating the exact same type of horse with all the same bloodline as the Yeguada Maipe.
Through this careful selection process, our breeding programme has been extremely successful with many of our progeny emulating there parents by winning many prestigious prizes at shows both in Spain and the U.K.
